Power up your LinkedIn Game

When looking for a new opportunity in the tech field, it’s no secret that until now, one of the places to go is LinkedIn. But did you really know how to use it?
No worries. We are here to help you figure it out!
The Title is the first thing we see
Here your focus should be on making your position clear, helping others to understand what you do and where you do. Keywords such as “Senior Python Engineer” can be useful to make your profile stand out when recruiters are looking for you.
Description (About)
Here you will describe your career, the challenges you faced, the results you achieved, what moves you, etc. Think about it as your personal selling pitch. But focus on using keywords about the technologies you use too.
For example:
“Backend Senior Engineer with:
– Python
– Django
– Terraform
– DevOps”
Professional Experiences
In the experience field, just saying that you worked in “X” company and for “Y” time frame is not enough. You have to explain what you did, which technologies you used, and the results you delivered. This will DRASTICALLY increase the chance of you being reached out by a recruiter.
Time for Action!
Out of sight, out of mind. So make connections and interact with them as often as possible!
Post about your experiences and things you learned, comment on posts of your colleagues and friends, improve your networking game.
All Star profile
After completing all of those steps, you should have an All Star profile!
An All Star profile attracts more visits and is benefited by the LinkedIn algorithm, making you stand out from the crowd.
Now it is up to you to keep making connections, interacting, and creating as much content as possible.
What about making the first move by sharing this article with your friends?
